Following a review of recent and current trading, the Board has decided to concentrate on core areas only. As a result, c£20m FUM has been identified as surplus. Reflecting on available options the Board has decided rather than recruit more advisory staff to service this portfolio a sale would be preferred of the segmented proportion.
Interest is invited from advisory firms/individuals interested in acquiring a portfolio of clients following a segmentation exercise of c£20m FUM all at a 1% charging model.
The vendor firm is looking to achieve a 3 times multiple of recurring income paid over an 18-24 month period.
Contractual terms will be put in place regarding non-solicitation of clients post-sale and the vendor firm will assist the client hand-over and integration in a completely impartial manner.
