An industry exit and a retirement is the main ambition. However, the vendor is keen that his clients be serviced post sale by an organisation with local advisers on a face-to-face basis.
The vendor is happy to remain within the acquirer firm enabling an orderly and seamless integration post the completion date.
This is a “sell & go” opportunity for a business that has traded profitably and prudently for many years so offers a legacy portfolio free of “high-risk” product
sales and promotions.
Given the quality of the client portfolio it is reasonably expected the vendor can achieve a premium valuation for the business.
Offers are expected in the range £950k – £1.1m with consideration passing from the acquirer to the vendor in 3 instalments over a 24 month period, subject to DD and contract.
