A Leeds based IFA practice is seeking a buyer allowing the owner/Director a retirement opportunity.
A total of 75 clients, holding c£25m of funds and generating c£110k of recurring revenue is available. The average client holding is £250k. The clients are largely based in the Leeds area with a small number in Cheshire.
There have been 15 DB transfers undertaken but this is no longer a facility offered by the Vendor. Clients are instead referred to a third party. There have been no claims arising and all DB clients remain fee paying clients.
Due to the use of DB transfers in the past it is acknowledged that this will be an asset sale.
Normal market valuation dynamics will apply i.e. 3.25 to 3.5x the recurring revenue paid over 24 months with 50% of the consideration paid upfront.
