The Business was established in 1978 as a General Insurance practice, subsequently moving into the IFA space. Total funds of c£35m and generating c£210k of recurring revenue is available.

The clients are all based in East London and surrounding areas.

It is the intention that the founding Directors continue to run the General Business post-sale and that the IFA Para-planner remains with the acquiring party.

Normal market valuation dynamics will apply i.e. 3.5x the recurring revenue paid over 24 months with 50% of the consideration paid upfront.

This deal adds £60m AUA and clients throughout Scotland with Sovereign principal, John Kennedy, joining as a senior financial planner in order to oversee the transition before retiring.
